Hello from the Isle of Wight. This is the time of year I like the least. The ferries are running again and there are hundreds of cars everywhere. The beaches and other tourist attractions are crowded, with no attempt at social distancing and no face-masks in sight. I realise you´ll think I´m a miserable sod, but I´m looking forward to autumn.
“The Treasure of the Visigoths” is now available as an e-book and a paperback. If you´re willing to wait, the e-book will be available as a half price promotion for three days from the 14th August, which is the earliest we could arrange it.
I am also planning to issue “The Languedoc Trilogy” as a box set of e-books in September. This will mean you will be able to purchase all three books together at the promotional half price of £3.99 ($4.99) for the first week of publication. For that amount you will get nearly a third of a million words (more than the equivalent of four full-length novels). That will certainly be value for money.
“The Secret of the Cathars” and “The Legacy of the Templars” have had extensive corrections, revisions and rewriting to bring the three books fully in line with each other and are being re-issued as updated individual novels. We are investigating the idea of producing a paperback boxed set.
Meanwhile I am working on the editing of “The Property People” with a view to publishing it in the near future. This is the first volume of a historical trilogy. I have already completed the draft of the second volume and have extensively planned and rewritten the third. I don´t know if that will be the complete series. I hope this will do for South Devon what Poldark did for Cornwall.
